Irene was simply the BEST! How lucky was I, I was extremely lucky, fortunate and honored to have known her. We met 18 years ago and during those 18 years, I can honestly say there is not one bad thing to say about her. That is typically not the norm for a Mother/Son-in-law relationship so that tells you what a truly special person she was. I have many fond and happy memories. My favorites are your multiple Bocce Tournament Championships, the misplaced pocket book incident. I see a lot of Irene’s qualities in my wife, Lisa. So from my perspective, Irene remains a part of my life and I am truly thankful for that. Love, Darrell

My mom was the best. She was a kind and gentle soul whom everyone loved. She was always there for me whenever I needed someone or just a shoulder to cry on. I have only the greatest memories of my life with my mom and I will miss her so much. I love you forever mom!

She was my childhood other mother. She was always so good to me, treating me like part of the family. I've seen her a few times through the years but seeing her again at Lisa and Darrel's BBQ a few years ago was a very special reunion which brought tears of joy to my eyes. She holds a very special place in my heart. As my thoughts and prayers have been with her and the family throughout this difficult time, they continue to be with you all. She was a beautiful woman with a beautiful family and I have such very sweet and fond memories of her. You all will always have my love and support.

My Mother was an incredible lady who leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, faith and a fine example of what it means to be a Christian wife and mother. Her intelligence, her ability to withstand my Father's puns and her Italian cooking that could rival the best of them, will never be forgotten (It didn't matter that she didn't have an Italian bone in her Irish body!) Her faith was incredible and I know that she is resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus. That alone, should give us consolation.
