Obituary of Luigi Palmiero

Luigi Palmiero, 71, of Manalapan, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013, at home with his family. Born in Naples, Italy, he lived in Aberdeen and Bayonne before moving to Manalapan two years ago. He was a chef at Bayonne Hospital, Bayonne for many years before retiring.
Luigi is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Maria; his five children, Antonietta Palmiero of Manalapan, Vinnie Palmiero of Old Bridge, Paula Ramsay of Aberdeen, Marylou Fay of Manalapan and Lucy Competiello of Howell; two brothers, Giovanni and Vincenzo, both of Staten Island, NY; and 10 grandchildren, Zara Palmiero, Gianni Lobikis, Vincent Competiello, Patrick Fay, Mason Ramsay, Julianna Pereira, Christopher Palmiero, Michael Fay, Natalia Palmiero and Rocco Competiello.
Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, Nov. 1st, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday,
