Obituary of Bruce James Green

Bruce J. Green, 65, of Ocean Township, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Born in Long Branch, he lived in Colts Neck for 55 years before moving to Ocean Township four years ago. He was the vice president of the family business, Apache Tomato Company, Colts Neck. Bruce had many hobbies, particularly antique cars and NY Yankees baseball, but his greatest pleasure was spending time with his family and friends He is survived by his three daughters and son-in-law, Leanne Green of Plainfield, Lori Green of North Plainfield, and Lisa and Thomas Strausbaugh of Colts Neck; and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Charles Strausbaugh; and his former wife, Patricia. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 29th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 30th, at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Adelphia Cemetery, Adelphia.
