Wow, how I remember the days when Lollipop as we called her lived Tappahannock, VA. We were family. My grandmother Ethel Howard was her dad John's sister. I can recall the times we played up in her family's yard. Although Lollipop was a little older that me, we still enjoyed fun times together. She was always a beautiful women and although it's been years since I've seen or spoken with her, it hurts my heart to hear of this tragedy. To my cousins, I would really like one day to meet you guys and please hang in there. God needed another rose for his garden, and He picked her. If you would sometime in the future, please email me some pictures or look me up on facebook. Praying for comfort for each of you during this difficult time......

About 25 years ago Al, Annie & I were on one of our many racing trips
to New Jersey and were fortunate enough to have Mike & Lolly living nearby the track. They always welcomed us to stay with them whenever we were in town, or passing through, and we took full advantage of spending what time we could with them.
On this particular trip, my Annie was admiring a ruby ring that Lolly was wearing & just as soon as she spoke the words Lolly took off the ring and handed to Annie and told her it was hers to keep. Despite my objections, Lolly insisted that Annie keep the ring as hers.
Today, I wear the ring when I need to feel closer to Annie.
And now, I'll treasure that ring all the more, my sweet, sweet sister-in-law. I'll be thinking of you ....with Love, Roe
