Obituary of Joyce Katherine Zakerski

ASBURY PARK PRESS TRANSCRIPT Date of Notice: Monday, September 9, 2013 Joyce Katherine Zakerski, 74, of Marlboro, died Saturday, September 7, 2013, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold after a heroic battle with leukemia. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and has resided in Marlboro since1998. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro. Joyce is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, June and Martin Rabinowitz of Marlboro and Jacqueline and Christopher Ghezzi of Manlius, NY; her sister Janice Hefley of Denison, TX and two grandchildren, Tara and Joseph Rabinowitz. Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, September 9, 2013 from 4 to 8 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Marlboro.
