Alice and I spoke almost every day for years. I was devastated to learn abut her passing last night when I arrived home. The last time we spoke was Sunday. She was going to visit Tina for the Labor Day, and as usual her dry sense of humor made me laugh. We had plans to visit next week for my birthday. I have so many wonderful memories of our trips together. My mom and, of course, my uncle loved her dearly. Sunday mornings, especially won't be the same without our phone calls. I know you're smiling at us Alice.
