Obituary of Barbara S. McDonough

Barbara S. McDonough, 78, of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013, at home with her family. Born in Deal, she lived in Freehold Borough before moving to the South Knolls Development in Jackson in 2005. Barbara was Senior Tax Clerk for the Borough of Freehold for over 20 years before retiring in 2000. She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, John, in 1990. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Diana and Gary Griffin, John and Tara McDonough, Jeff and Patty McDonough, and James and Susan McDonough; her sister, Joan Fiore; 12 grandchildren; and a great granddaughter. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, August 21st, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Monmouth Memorial Park Cemetery, Tinton Falls.
