Wow, I don't even know..so many memories. I remember when I used to have MTV on TV and she'd be shocked but laughing at the shows that were on. I remember when Aunt Lucy would stay over at our house and pick tiny crumbs up off the floor...yet she always said she couldn't see ;). She always wanted to feed us :) She made me laugh..she was so huggable. I miss you Aunt Lucy but I know you are in such good company with so many angels..tell my mom I said hi...xoxooxoxo I'll love you forever..always in my heart.
Love, Melissa

I married into the family in 1969 and it was like being a "blood" relative from that moment on. Each and every family member are dear to me, but particularly Aunt Lucy. When I first got married, I lived in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn and Aunt Lucy and Uncle Tony only lived a few blocks away. When my daughter Julie was born, I used to take a walk with her in the baby carriage to Aunt Lucy's house in the early afternoon. We would have such good times together as Aunt Lucy was a lot of fun. I remember when Julie started to walk: Aunt Lucy put her wig on her and she ran all over the place and we laughed and laughed. Aunt Lucy gave Julie her first bath and it was so cute to see. Going food shopping with Aunt Lucy was a lot of fun too. She would give Julie a melon to play with in the shopping cart, then put it back on the shelf when we were done.
Some Friday nights I'd go to my mother-in-laws house and Aunt Lucy would dye my hair. She was very rough, but we laughed and laughed over cake and coffee.
Aunt Lucy had no children of her own, but through the years, changed everyone's diaper and was proud of it! A funny memory that Phil used to tell me about Aunt Lucy was that she was always stealing his potato chips. She loved being teased and was a good sport.
I've moved away from the East Coast since my beloved Phil passed away 3 years ago, but Aunt Lucy and all the family will always be in my heart.
