When I say your name, Irving Monroe Jr., my mind visions of you are: 1.Your smile & laughter. It brighten up everyone's day and re-adjusted their attitudes. 2.Your many wardrobe malfunctions in the locker room. Your reply to me as always; "Fred, I don't care". 3. Your vibrant spirit that was contagious to everybody around you. You had a great big heart and a desire to help everyone and anybody who required it. I remembered when I use to sit down next to you and you would tell me stories about your daughter more so than your boys. I can see how proud and happy you are when each time you spoke about them. You say to me, "Fred, I'm bless and happy for my kids and thank God everyday to keep them safe." It is surreal to me that you are not here anymore with us. I know that you are in a much better place with the God you 'talk to like a buddy' everyday. One of your favorite saying whenever you are praying every time: "Lord, decrease self and increase you Lord, Not my will, but yours. And everybody say AMEN AMEN & AMEN". I know you are at His right hand now and looking down and probably in a whispering voice you sometimes do: "Look all, I made it and you can too!" Irvin, I love you and I will surely miss you dearly.
