I know this is 2022 but just found this. Larry and I met at the Newark Public Library the end of 60's and were friends till I left in 1979 for California. Loved him and Jerry dearly. I have pictures Jerry took of my husband my son and me. So sorry for the loss of these beautiful souls.

So sorry to hear about your loss: I met Larry as a volunteer working for our office at Ocean Monmouth Legal Services, Inc. Larry was quite the character very pleasant and amusing. As I got to know Larry better I also found out that he was very outgoing, outspoken and willing to learn new things. Larry also could not stop talking about the love he had for his family, music and Spanish Food (Rice and Beans). I truly enjoyed working with Larry and he will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Larry and I met each other in the early 60's. We all had a mutual connection....our neighborhood, and Music. Somehow, God brings together people who share the same passions. For anyone who reads this and was a part of that group, you know what I mean. Larry, his Brother Steve, Al Pizarelli, Gary Martino, Gerry Immersi, Mike Caputo and more, all hung out together. Our love for early R&B of the 60's, and eventually the Beatles and that began a whole new "scene" for us. I remember when Al recorded his first album...Broccoli, there were some Beatle-esque psychedelic parts that were a conglomerate of many instruments played at the same time. At the time , I was in St. Lucys Junior Cadets, and played second soprano bugle. Larry played it during that part in Als song. We had great times together, and sometimes not so great. Larry was a filled with Spirit and a great sense of humor.Thats what we shared. Had not seen him in years, and met him for the last time at Jerrys wake. We talked and laughed about old times, and some things that I cannot repeat here that were extra funny and memorable. Then we said goodbye. Larry, you were always a good friend and you will forever be in my memory as one of the good guys to whom I had the privelege to call "friend" Rest in Peace my Brother !!

My deepest and heart felt condolences to the Leeds Family. Steve, sorry I could not make it, but Larry will always be in my heart and memories. We shared a lot of fun and music back in the day, and Larry, we will all be together again one day so keep those Beatle Albums in good shape, cause you know we will be sharing them again. Rest in Peace old friend. Love Jimmy
