Obituary of Nicholas Anthony Parella

Nicholas A. Parella, 61, of Freehold Township, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born on Staten Island, he has resided in Freehold for the past 31 years. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Freehold. Nick obtained his master's degree from Jersey City State College and was an award winning district manager for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for 29 years before retiring. He enjoyed playing golf in his spare time. He was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Rosalie Parella. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Ramona; his two loving daughters and sons-in-law, Nicole and Matthew Walsh of Manalapan and Danielle Parella and Derek Rosato of Freehold; and his brother, Joseph Parella. Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, May 6th, from 4 to 8 PM, at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 7th, at 11 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
