Obituary of Connie Sarno

Connie Sarno, of Freehold, died Sunday, February 24, 2013 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Garfield, she has resided in Freehold since 1967. She assisted her husband who was the owner of F&M Moreau Plant Co. in Freehold prior to retiring. Connie was also a Rosie the Riveter during WWII. She was predeceased by her husband Frank. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kathleen Siano of Freehold; her sister, Lillian Zimmerman of Waldwick; and two grandchildren, Michael and Kristy Siano of Freehold. Family and friends may visit Wednesday, February 27th from 10 to 11 a.m. with a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Donations in her memory may be made to Disabled American Veterans, 99 George Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879-1786.
