Obituary of Gary M. Markus

Gary M. Markus, 56, of Marlboro, passed away on February 5, 2013, at home with his loving family. He was a self-employed contractor. The son of the late Benjamin & Ann Markus, he was born in Perth Amboy. He was predeceased by his brothers, Robert and Thomas and brother-in-law, Henry King. He is survived by his daughters, Lindsay and Paige Markus, both of Effort, PA; and Stevie Leigh Morneault of NH; his siblings, Annette King, Patricia & Sonny Hagenson, Ben & Debbie Markus, Nancy & Lance Bunker, and Ronald & Sissy, Kenneth and Brian & Nancy Markus; and his former wife, Carol Markus and many nieces and nephews. A memorial celebration will be held on Sunday, Feb. 17th, from 2 - 6 PM, at the Lincoln Hose Firehouse, 142 2nd St, Keyport NJ. Arrangements have been entrusted to Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
