Obituary of Carolyn Gorman

Carolyn I. Gorman, 66 years old, a resident of Freehold, NJ passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018. Carolyn was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Freehold in 1978. She was a para legal secretary with the Western Electric Company, and a teacher at the Kinderland Nursery School in Malboro until her breast cancer, which was diagnosed in 2008. Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Louis Infante, and her brother Passquale. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Gerry Gorman; her daughter, Nicole Maio, her sister, Elena Heimbach, her two grandchildren Anthony and Jack Maio and numerous nieces and nephews. Her wake will take place at Freeman Funeral Home 47 E. Main Street, Freehold on Monday, September 3 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. There will be a funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in Freehold on Tuesday at 11:30 AM; followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to St. Rose of Lima Church or to St. Jude Childrens Hospital in Carolyn's name.
