Obituary of Francis H. Wilverding jr

Frank H. Wilverding Jr., 58, of Manalapan, died on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Elizabeth he resided in Roselle Park before moving to Manalapan 14 years ago. Frank was the manager of the Radiology Department for Capital Health System in Hopewell. He coached soccer in Roselle Park, basketball at St. Theresa's School in Kenilworth and recreational basketball in Manalapan. His greatest joys in life were his children, going on vacation to Hilton Head, SC., and spending time with his loving family, including his nieces, nephews and many longtime friends. Frank was predeceased by his daughter, Mary Frances, in 1988, and his parents, Francis and Theresa. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Christine; his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Lauren of San Diego, CA.; his daughter, Katelyn of Manalapan; his sister and brother-in-law, Judith and Richard Colligan of New Providence; and a soon to be born grandson, Thomas Francis Wilverding. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, Dec. 11th, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wed., Dec. 12th, at 10 AM, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. Interment will be private.
