Dearest Denis, Jamie, Matthew and families, My sadness at Jeanne’s passing is overwhelming. My memories are of raising our children together, on East 29th Street, sharing stories and laughing at the antics of our boys. Jeanne was a calming factor, in my life as she always told me to pray and not worry about the trivialities of life. She was undoubtedly the sweetest being I have ever met, her kindness,to my children and other children, on the block was beyond exceptional. There was always something to eat and cheer to spread among neighbors. Children drinking from Jean and Jack’s hose on a hot summer day was a gleeful sight among friends. Drinking in the beauty of her enormous Cherry tree was a treat for all. Camping with Jack and my husband Dan a rare treat with the Cub Scouts, full of laughter and another memory, jam packed food for the boys to enjoy on their trip, with their dads. Jeanne was and always will hold a special place, in my heart. You have my deepest sympathy but know that she has embarked on yet another adventure, an adventure to once again meet her Jack, the love of her life. She remains with you, in another realm, a realm where she now has everlasting life. My love to all
