Walter was the face of 420. Whether he was noting the name of a frequent guest, or remembering your personal triumphs and travails, or greeting you as you came in the door, Walter was a touchstone for the residents — funny, warm and generous. Losing our Walter is like a death in the family. He was my friend and I shall miss him.
