Obituary of Marilyn La Rosa

Marilyn La Rosa, 71 of Freehold Borough, died on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Neptune to Harold and Eleanor Wallace, she was a lifelong resident of Freehold Borough. She graduated from the boro high school, class of '65 and the Asbury Park Business College. Marilyn retired in 2010 from the Freehold Township Board of Education, and prior to that she was employed with the County of Monmouth. She was a wife, mother, traveler, animal lover, was witty and could always make you laugh. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church of Freehold and was a member of its Catholic Daughters of America. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband Michael of 50 years and her son Mark of Suffern, NY. Family and friends may visit Sunday, 4/29 from 2-6 pm at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. Her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday at 11 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
