Janet A. Biddle, 79, of Freehold and North Carolina, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 with family by her side. Born in Newark, she resided in Freehold for most of her life. Janet retired as a Vice President for Wachovia Bank, Freehold, and worked in banking for over 30 years.
Janet was a member of Reformed Church of Freehold, Freehold Rotary and Soroptimist Clubs, National Association of Banking Women, Freehold Borough Educational Foundation, Freehold Area Hospital (CentraState) Board of Trustees, Jaycee-Ettes, and Freehold Women's Softball and Volleyball Leagues.
She was predeceased by her husband Stanley; her son Harry; her parents Harry and Jean Borkenhagen; and her brother Thomas Brown. She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, Karen and Randy Rowe and Cathy Preston; daughter-in-law Barbara Biddle; grandchildren Patrick (Trisha), Kylie, Danny, Maggie, Jake, Harry, Brian, Kevin (Jaime), and Jeff (Tara); and great-grandchildren Emma, Ben, Blake, Autumn and Travis.
Her viewing will be on Thursday from 4-8 PM at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be Friday at 10 am at the Reformed Church of Freehold.
