Obituary of Steven Thomas Parkes

Steven Thomas Parkes, 58, of Freehold, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Before his retirement, he was employed by the John Montgomery Care Center in Freehold for 36 years. He was a communicant at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Colts Neck. He is survived by his parents Thomas and Peg (Munley) Parkes; his brothers and sisters in law Donald and Joanne of Flemington; Thomas and Barbara of Langhorne, PA; and Christopher and Terri of Brick; as well as his nieces and nephews, Natalie, Matthew, Michael, Kevin, Madeleine, Nicholas, and Kristen. Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main Street, Freehold, on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM . There will be a funeral liturgy on Saturday at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, Colts Neck, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
