Obituary of Lucy Leggio

Lucy Leggio, 95, of Manalapan, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018. Born in New York City, she was raised in Italy, and came back to New York, settling in the Bronx in the 1950's. She moved to the Covered Bridge community in Manalapan 25 years ago where she participated in various clubs. Lucy was predeceased by her husband Giovanni, her son Angelo, her daughter in law, Anne Marie; and her sisters Rose and Tina She is survived by her son Ben Leggio of Babylon, NY; her daughter in law, Diane Leggio of Manalapan; her grandchildren Nicole Boyce, Adam & Danielle Leggio, Erica Leggio, Desiree & Anthony Delia; her great grandchildren Cara & Gina Boyce, Angelo Leggio, and Giovanna & Anthony Delia; and her brother in law Sal Aronica. Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan on Wednesday February 21 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. A funeral service will be held during visitation, beginning at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
