Obituary of Martha Burns

Martha Burns, 87, originally from Freehold, passed away in Deerfield Beach, Florida on Sunday February 11.
She moved to Florida in 2017 from Staten Island, NY. While in Freehold, she worked as a ticket collector at the Freehold Raceway. In addition to the horse races, Martha loved the casino,and playing bingo five days a week.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Burns, 25 years ago, and her grandson, Jeffrey Kondash, 24 years ago. She is survived by her children Mary Ann Laurino, and Joseph Kondash, Jr.; her sister Nellie Humphrey; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main Street, Freehold, NJ on Wednesday February 14 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. There will be a funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Thursday, February 15 at 11:00 AM.
