Obituary of Robert Glenn Rhodes

Robert (Glenn) Rhodes, 62, of Point Pleasant passed away on January 22. Robert was a graduate of Freehold Borough High School, and attended Brookdale Community College. He was a lifelong resident of Freehold before moving to Point Pleasant 17 years ago. He was a purchasing agent for Dragados U.S.A., formerly Schiavone Construction, for more than ten years. Robert spent his leisure time fishing and boating, and loved being with his wife and his cats, Snugglebear and Winston. Robert was predeceased by his father Robert Rhodes. He is survived by his mother Marlene and stepfather Michael Crawford; his wife Jeanne (Heather) Rhodes; his sister and brother in law Joan and Dennis Ulikowski of Millstone, his sister and brother in law Katherine and Daniel Barkalow of Freehold; and his brother and sister in law Michael and Victoria Crawford of Freehold. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Dennis, Michael, and Christopher Ulikowski, Jennifer Garry, Michael Crawford, Joseph Barkalow, Nichole Crawford, and many great nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial gathering at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main Street, Freehold on Friday, January 26 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, with a service at 7:00 at the funeral home.
