Ella Garcia, 86, of Freehold passed away on December 13, 2017. She was a beautiful woman inside and out, and a loving mother who always put her children first.
Affectionately called "Meema" by her five grandchildren, she was a supportive and guiding force for them. Passionate about her garden, you could always find her tending to her roses and veggies wearing an apron and visor. She was delicate and magical all at once. Mom, you have arrived at your Happy Hunting Ground.
Ella was predeceased by her parents Jose and Adelina (O'Sheaf) Burga; and her husband Robert Garcia. She is survived by her son Kenneth of Cookstown, NJ; her daughter Gina Garcia and son-in-law Matthew Green of Santa Monica, California; her daughter Ginger and son-in-law Lee Maziekien of Freehold; her grandchildren Katie Garcia, Shane and Alexandra Maziekien, Emma and Abigail Green; her sister Edda Semiday, and her brother Joseph Burga, both of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main Street, Freehold on Saturday December 16 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm; with words of remembrance beginning at 12:30.
