Obituary of Anita L. Savino

Anita L. Savino, of Freehold, passed away peacefully at home, with her daughters by her side on Monday November 20. "She was there when we took our first breath and we were there when she took her last. Always a mother, always our mom". Born in Jersey City to Peter and Muriel (Moje) Zarriello, she was raised in the Bronx, NY and moved to Freehold in 1965. Anita loved her family, and devoted her entire life to her daughters. Caring for animals was a big part of her life. Anita was predeceased by her parents, and her husband Frank. She is survived by her daughter Donna and son-in-law Ben Peluso and her daughter Gina Savino and John Oshinski. In addition to her loving daughters, Anita is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Peter and Kathy Zarriello; her sister Patricia Zarriello, and Frank; her brother-in-law John Savino; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. All services will be private, under the direction of Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
