Obituary of Peggyann Feehan

Peggyann Feehan, 74, of Massapequa Park, NY passed away October 28, 2017 at her home in Manalapan, NJ.
Visitation will be held at Freeman Funeral Home 344 Route 9 North in Manalapan, NJ 07726 on November 1, 2017 at 7:00 - 9:00 pm and November 2, 2017 at 2:00 - 4:00 pm And 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
Funeral service will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 333 Route 18 in Old Bridge, NJ 08857 on November 3, 2017 at 10:15 am.
Peggy was born in Astoria, NY to William and Angelina Butler on June 19, 1943. She went to high school at St. Agnes Cathedral and graduated in 1961. She went on to study at St. Catherine's. She was an avid reader, loved Irish music, spending time on the Jersey shore and her most recent addiction to binge watching Netflix into the wee hours of the night.
She was a loving wife to George Feehan for 48 years and mother to her children Kelly Jeanne McCann, Sean Patrick Feehan, Megan Katherine Feehan. She was known as "MomMom" to her three grandchildren Robert Owen III, Clancy Kelly and William Corrigan McCann. She is also survived by son-in-law Robert Owen McCann, Jr., and her step daughter Teri Lee Gragg, son-in-law Douglas Gragg and step grandchildren Robert, Madison and Abigail Gragg.
Peggy was a loyal friend to many and devoted herself to the betterment of Catholic school education. She was the Director of Development for St. Leo the Great School where she led the construction of the 2.5 million dollar addition. She assisted her dear friend and Principal Joanne Kowit in garnering a Blue Ribbon Award for the school. She most recently was assisting Joanne and St. Thomas the Apostle School in Old Bridge with their bid to become her second Blue Ribbon Award winning school.
