Obituary of Jonathan Thomas Novotny

Jonathan Thomas Novotny, 20, of Freehold Township, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012, at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Born in Freehold, he resided there his entire life, graduating from Freehold Township High School in 2010. Jon worked at Sears Department Store in the Freehold Raceway Mall while also attending Brookdale Community College in Lincroft. He was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold. Jonathan will be missed by all who knew him. He touched so many lives and blessed so many with his warm heart, beautiful smile, wonderful friendship, and generosity. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Gennaro Mancuso in 1984 and Angela Nicastri Mancuso in 1976; and his paternal grandfather, George Novotny in 1998. Jon is survived by his loving parents, George and Carmela Novotny; two loving brothers, James and Jeffrey Novotny; grandmother, Julie Novotny; many aunts and uncles, Tom and Nadia Mancuso, Luisa and Kurt Clews, Delia Mancuso, Sandra and Paul Machiaverna, and Frances Mancuso; and cousins, Daniel, Alessandra, Kassy, Destiny, Angela, Christopher, Victoria, Nicole, Thomas, Stephen, Kelly, Robert, Michael, Linda and Anthony. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, Nov. 20th, from 4 to 8 PM, at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, Nov. 21st, at 10 am, at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Freehold. Interment will be private.
