He was an easy man to love.
Crack a joke, have a shot.
No worries.
He was kind. He was generous. Never hurt no one.
He loved his Yankees. He loved his friends. He loved his family. His was a simple life, full of wonders.
I am sad today with his passing. I will lift my spirits by thinking of all the good times. Days of discovery as boys. The hours of laughing and playing stickball and Johnny ride a pony on 10th Street. Sunday dinners at Nanny's with the family and the walks to Prospect Park.
The days will pass differently for me now. But knowing we will all be together again will keep me going. Until then Cuz, I'll miss you. But know you will never be forgotten.
