Obituary of Rose Albanese

Rose Albanese, 89 of Freehold Township, passed away on June 8th, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a resident of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn for 70 years before settling in Freehold Township. Prior to marriage, Rose worked as a commercial artist before becoming a home maker. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Rose also served as a volunteer for the Woman's Auxiliary at CentraState Medical Center.
Rose was predeceased by her husband Nicholas Albanese. She is survived by her daughter Mary and husband Fred Fowler; son John and wife Sandra Albanese; daughter Joan and husband Sal Vicidomini; grandchildren Carissa and Marc Fowler, Anthony and Michael Vicidomini, David and Matthew Albanese and Brandon Brightman.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 10th, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm and Sunday, June 11th, from 2:00 -4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. The funeral mass will be Monday, June 12th at 11:30 am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Freehold. Entombment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
