Obituary of Phyllis Mae Aschenbach

Phyllis Aschenbach, 83, of Freehold Township passed away on Monday at the home of her daughter Debbie. Mrs. Aschenbach was born in Neptune NJ in 1933 to Clarence and Elsie Stokes. She graduated from Manasquan High School in 1951. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Aschenbach worked as a secretary for the Freehold Township Board of Education. Mrs. Aschenbach is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Aschenbach and her daughter, Brenda Ballaro. She is survived by her daughter Debbie of Amherst, Virginia, and her son Fred of Brick, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to gather at Freeman Funeral Home 47 E. Main St., Freehold on Thursday April 6, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. There will be a funeral service at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 am, followed by burial at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
