Obituary of Elizabeth Agnes Sergio

Elizabeth Sergio, 76, of Freehold, passed away on January 2nd, 2017. Born in Nyack, New York, Elizabeth was a resident of Upper Saddle River before settling in Freehold. She was a graduate of Union Hill High School, Union City, NJ. Betty was an avid bowler and skater in her day. She will be missed by her beloved cats, Whiskey and Mikey. She is survived by her husband Nicolino; son Anthony, son Nicholas and his wife Anita; siblings John, Kathleen, Rose, and Eileen; grandchildren Gabriella, Nicholas, Adrianna and Ciprian Sergio. Visitation will be Sunday, January 8, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. The funeral liturgy will be held 10:00 am Monday, January 9th at St. Gabriel's Historic Church, Marlboro. Interment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery, Marlboro.
