Jose Luis Diaz, 83, of Freehold, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at CentraState Medical Center. Born in Morovis, Puerto Rico he resided in Englewood, New Jersey before settling in Freehold 13 years ago. Jose was a Book Gilder for the Marchetti & Brothers Co. in New York City. He was a communicant of St. Roberts Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold.
He is survived by his wife, Maria; sons Jose Jr. and wife Denise, Angel and wife Ileana; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, Dec. 18, from
3 to 6 p.m., at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A Mass will be celebrated at St. Roberts Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold on Tuesday, December 20th at 11:30 am.
