Obituary of Joseph DeLucia

Joseph DeLucia, 79, of Freehold, passed away on December, 13th, 2016 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. He was born in Neptune and has been a lifelong resident of Freehold. Prior to his retirement, Joseph was the supervisor of the grounds at the Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital. He was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church, a member of Freehold Cruisers Car Club and the Freehold Elks. He had a passion for Classic Cars and could be frequently seen at all the local car shows. Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Mary. He is survived by his sister, Phyllis; and his long term companion Marie Hankinson. Friends and family are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, December 16th from 4-8 PM, at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E Main St, Freehold. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
