Obituary of Teresa Ali

Teresa Ali, 60, of Manalapan, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2012, at home with her family. Born in Marina DiGioisa, Italy, she has resided in Manalapan for over 20 years. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. She was predeceased by her parents, Maria and Rocco Fionda; her brother, Domenic Fionda; her brothers-in-law, Giussepi, Francesco and Francesco Ali. Teresa is survived by her husband, Nicola; her children and their spouses, Rosemarie and Daniel Petersen of Freehold, Silvia and Louis Orta of Manalapan and Melissa Ali of Manalapan; her siblings and their spouses, Rose and Tony Pugliesi of Howell, Celeste and Gino Felicitato of Brooklyn, Anna and Thomas Sacchetti of Staten Island, Rocco Fionda of Staten Island; grandchildren, Nicholas and Samantha Petersen and Giovanni and Derick Orta; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Vincenzo and Esther Ali of Old Bridge, Murial, Rosa and Maria Ali, Domenico and Teresa Ali, Rocco and Esther Ali, Josephina and Rocco Mazzaferro, Clementina and Phillip Minici and Orlando and Gertrude Ali, all of Toronto, Canada; 37 nieces and nephews; and 59 great nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm at the Freeman Manalapan - Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. Entombment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Mausoleum, Freehold.
