Obituary of Stanley Morris Biddle

Stanley M. Biddle, 85, a lifelong resident of Freehold, died suddenly on October 30, 2016 with family at his side. A graduate of Freehold High School, he was a proud Korean War veteran. He was the manager Hendrickson's Florist for over 33 years and was a member of the Reformed Church of Freehold. He was a member of the Freehold Borough Shade Tree Commission for 20 years and was active in the Jersey Shore Florist Association, Freehold Little League and the Jaycees. Stanley was predeceased by his son Harry; his parents Frank and Martha; and brothers, Frank and Robert. He is survived by his loving wife Janet, of 60 years; two daughters and son-in-law, Karen and Randy Rowe and Cathy Preston; daughter-in-law, Barbara Biddle; grandchildren Patrick, Kylie, Danny, Jake, Maggie and Harry; and siblings, William, Richard, and Mary Goetz. His viewing will be on Wednesday from 4-8 pm at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 am at Reformed Church of Freehold, 67 West Main Street. Interment will be private. Donations may be made to Freehold First Aid or to the Reformed Church.
