Obituary of Maryanne Deodato
Please share a memory of Maryanne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Maryanne Deodato, age 65, passed away on October 4th 2016 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Cenadi, Italy, Maryanne came to the United States in 1970 and lived in Bayonne, NJ for 29 years before moving to Marlboro, NJ in 1999. She worked as child care provider at the Home Sweet Home Child Care Center in Farmingdale, NJ.
In both her home and work life, Maryanne was a kind, generous, and compassionate soul devoted to serving and caring for others. Her faith was the core of how she lived her life, both selflessly and unconditionally. She led by example and her words were always chosen with love and positivity. Her love for family and cooking was the center of holidays and family gatherings where special memories were made. She was a source of strength and inspiration to those whose lives she touched and she will be sorely and deeply missed.
Maryanne is survived by her husband and childhood sweetheart of 46 years, Dominick; her sister Maria (Gallo) Totino of Milan, Italy and husband, Pasquale; her children Antoinette and her husband, Anthony Rosario, Elizabeth and her husband Ronald Hardney, Jr., and Joseph and his wife Jakki Godfrey; her grandchildren Dominick, Isabella, Elia, and Nina; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren, all who she leaves to cherish her memory.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing Friday, October 7th, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Freeman Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8th at 12:00 pm at Marlboro Cemetery & Mausoleum, 361 Route 79, Marlboro, NJ.
