Obituary of Linda Joy Ciavattoni

Linda J.(Pizzimenti) Ciavattoni, 57, of Manalapan, passed away after a courageous battle with a long term illness, on Thursday, September 15, 2016. She was born in Brooklyn and raised in Staten Island before settling in Manalapan. She was a St. Joseph Hill High School graduate, Class of 1977 and Wagner College graduate, Class of 1981.
Linda was employed as an accountant for Nedlloyd Shipping. Once becoming a mother, she gave up her career realizing her greatest joy came from caring for her family. She adored her time creating memories with her loving husband and their four beautiful children. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and playing the piano in her spare time.
Linda was predeceased by her father John Pizzimenti. She is survived by her mother Gilda; husband John; son Anthony and his wife Brianda; daughter Nicole Vonfrolio and husband Thomas; sons John and Christopher; sister Diane Ordonez and her husband Roberto.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, September 18th from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 7:00 - 9:00pm at Freemans Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home located at 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral service will be held September 19th at 10:00am at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. Interment to follow at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
