Obituary of John A. Di Spada

John A. Di Spada, 79, passed away at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus on Friday, August 26th, 2016. Born in Italy, John moved to Freehold 40 years ago. John was a contractor with hands of gold. He was also a published writer with the 10-year accomplishment of, "The Earth Chai Saga", which he cherished. John was a co-founder of the Freehold Clergy Association Homeless program. He volunteered in many other capacities in the community as well as donating his contracting services to the Agape New Beginning Church in Freehold. He served as a Ranger for the United States Army in the Vietnam War for five years. John is survived by his loving wife Ramona; children John and Gabriella; sister Sandra and stepchildren Christopher, Maria and Artemis. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on August 28th, Sunday 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:30 pm during the visitation. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made St. Jude Children Hospital. 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
