Obituary of Rebecca Faughnan

Rebecca Morris Faughnan, 85, of Freehold Township, passed away on September 26, 2012 at home. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she lived in Elizabeth before moving to Freehold 24 years ago. She was a former member of the Epworth Methodist Church. Rebecca was also a member of the Civil Air Patrol during World War II and served as an adult advisor to local Monmouth County and Civil Air Patrol Youth Groups for several years. She was a member of the Independence Square Covenant Association in Freehold for many years. She was predeaced by her husband, Thomas in 2000, and her brother, Charles Morris. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Kathleen of Jackson and Kevin and Kris of Somerset; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Newark.
