Obituary of Jacqueline Ann Cunliffe

Jacqueline 'Jac' A. Cunliffe, 86, of Point Pleasant, passed away on May 30th, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Jackie devoted her life to raising her family, cooking and entertaining during holidays and family celebrations. She was raised in Jersey City and traveled to the shore throughout her teens and eventually settled there with homes in Point Pleasant and Palm City, Florida. A straight shooter in life, affectionately known as "Jake" it was never difficult to coax a song from her at weddings or to receive and endure one of her infamous "letters". She enjoyed her work at Point Pleasant Hospital and was a favorite of her life long group of girlfriends, "the dirty dozen." Jacqueline was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert A. 'Rac' Cunliffe whom she married on May 5th 1951. Jac is survived by her three sons, Robert, Thomas and Paul Cunliffe; and her two daughters Lori Cunliffe and Leslie Licata; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. According to her wishes services will be private, handled by the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
