Obituary of Gaetano Bongiovanni

Gaetano Bongiovanni, 73, of Manalapan, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Boca Raton. Born in Sicily, Italy he resided in Brooklyn and Staten Island before moving to Manalapan and wintering in Boca Raton. Gaetano was a printer for Amalgamated Lithograph Local 1, of New York City and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a former communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church, Staten Island and then a communicant of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. Gaetano is survived by his loving wife Roseangela; son Calogero and daughter in law Margaret; daughter Roxanne and son in law Frank Blasucci and four grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, May 1st rom 1:00 to 5:00 pm & 7:00 to 9:00pm at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. The funeral service is Monday, May 2nd at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. Entombment to follow at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum, Marlboro.
