Obituary of Marlene Ann Hunt

Marlene (DeBlasio) Hunt, 74, of Edison, passed away at Cranbury Center Genesis Healthcare, Monroe on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Born in Linden, she had resided in Edison for 31 years before moving to North Brunswick. Prior to her retirement Marlene worked for the Middlesex County Department of Corrections for over 20 years. Her greatest love was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved sitting in the sun and taking long walks. Marlene enjoyed assisting at her church, helping others and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful person and will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Emma DeBlasio. Surviving are her loving husband, Joseph N. Hunt of 52 years; her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph R. Hunt and Carol Baureis; her daughter and son-in-law, Warren and Colleen Schwab; three brothers and their spouses, Charlie and Lorraine DebBlasio, Clark and Kathy DeBlasio and Dennis and Bernadette DeBlasio; four grandchildren, Alex, Nicole and Dylan Hunt and Joshua Schwab and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday from 2 to 6 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM at Our Lady of Peace, North Brunswick. Interment will be private.
