Today would have been Tom's 51st birthday. He was the funniest, kindest and most exasperating person I ever met. His love of animals and children was legendary. When his daughter Katherine was born he was terrified that he would not be a good father to her. He also could not have loved Megan more if she were his own child. If you have one or ten children, it is heart breaking to lose any one of them. As a mother, you just want to put your arms around your children and shield them from harm. Tom suffered over the past couple of years with several health issues that caused him a great deal of pain. His friends said they never knew he was in pain, because he never complained. Rest in peace my sweet boy. I will love and miss you every day for the rest of my life. Mom

I can only remember Tom with a smile on his face and being the funniest and most popular person in the room. I remember him as my biology lab partner when we were the only ones not allowed to sit together because he always made me laugh, and switching names for the yearbook photos just for fun. I remember playing everything in the front yard; soccer, basketball,or fishing or playing curb ball, hand ball, roof ball (our invention) Whatever it was, you were sure to have fun. As the years went by we would see Tom less and less, but whenever you did, you would be sure he would mention how proud he was of his daughter and sure that you would see the same spirit and smile. Miss you Thomas. Rest in Peace.
