Obituary of Dorothy M Miller

Dorothy Marie Miller (Schaefer), 95, of Manalapan, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016. Born in Manhattan, NY; Dorothy worked for the Department of Finance for the city of NY, she then became a wave for the U.S. Navy during WWII, and finally a homemaker to her husband and four children. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband and father of her children, Michael D. Fogarty; her second husband William Miller; and her son Robert P. Fogarty. She is survived by her three children, Margaret Fogarty, Michael Fogarty, and Dorothy Montalto; her sister, Jean Shaw; 9 grandchildren Deborah, Dennis, Dawn, William, Denise, Kristine, Patrick, Brian, Blair; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 US Highway 9 North, Manalapan, on Friday, February 19, from 5 to 8 PM. A funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 20, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ocean View the Cemetery Beautiful, 3315 Amboy Road, Staten Island.
