for as long as i can remember the Hynes clan and my family have been really close. Growing up i have very fond memories of going to their house. Larry and Judy were like 2nd parents to me. Every time I saw Larry in the neighborhood it was always a friendly conversations about family etc. I haven't really seen alot of him over the last couple of years but thought of him often. i am going to miss him dearly. We lost a great one. they don't make them like that anymore.

In 51 years of my life I had a great friend. One of the most amazing man I ever knew.
Uncle Larry taught me a lot about life and friendships.
One of the most amazing talents he had was he could hang out with anybody any age... It didn't matter to him. He loved everyone.
Uncle Larry was not just my Uncle he is my best friends we were Pals for as long as I could remember.
We would tease each other about baseball football to know end.
When I was younger I would take his Giants hat and make believe to crush it, throw it in the garbage... He never got mad at me. He just look at me and laugh and say "you better not!"
He lover his Dodgers and his Mets... He coached all the kids.
He always said to me, I get that from your father... If a kid didn't have a glove give yours so he could play too.
I've been coaching now for 21 years and I asked him every season... Please coach with me
His answer was always No...
I came to realize. I now why he said No. After every game win loose I would come to him and complain, ask question or tell him about plays. He would just listen to me. Then he would tell me things and correct them.
Stupid me... He was always coaching with me.
Uncle Larry was everyones helper, when I bought my house he would come over and we literally built rooms together... Give him a hammer and some duct tape..
We fished every beach and lake in the state of New
