Obituary of Gennaro J. Forte

Gennaro J. Forte, 85 of Freehold, passed away on Thursday, January 7th, 2016, at Centra State Medical Center, Freehold. He was born in North Bergen. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he was Manager of the Internal Revenue Service from 1954 to 1995. He had many friends and devoted much of his life to the care of others. He was loved by all who knew him. Gennaro was predeceased by his wife, Louise in 2012; and his sister, Gloria Miller. He is survived by his daughter, Lugene Forte, of New York City; his brother, Dominick Forte, of Brick; and his grandchild Luke. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, January 10th, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral mass will be held Monday, January 11th, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, Colts Neck. Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum, Marlboro.
