Obituary of Irene Eleanor Lane

Irene E. Lane, 86, of Oceanport, NJ passed away on Monday December 14, 2015 at home. Born in Bayonne, Irene formerly resided in Fort Myers, FL for 20 years and Freehold for 40 years before moving to Oceanport with her daughter. She worked in the office for the Monmouth County Board of Social Services for 15 years. Irene was predeceased by her Husband, James in 2002. She is survived by her 7 children and their spouses, James Lane of Longwood, FL, Robert and Coleen Lane of Edison, David and Debbie Lane of Houston, TX, Laura and Gilbert Kankowski of Barnegat, Irene and Edward DeCelie of Manalapan, Sharon Lane of Oceanport, and Margo and Edward English of Bonita Springs, FL; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to visit Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E Main St, Freehold, on Thursday, December 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 10 AM Friday at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Freehold. Entombment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
