Obituary of Eleanor S. Orent

Eleanor S. Orent, 84, of Freehold Township, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold with her family by her side. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she lived in Buffalo, NY before moving to Freehold Township 49 years ago. Eleanor was the restaurant manager for the Sheraton Hotel, East Brunswick and then a realtor for Coldwell Banker Schlott in Manalapan before retiring. She was predeceased by her husband, Serge in 1997; and five siblings, Abraham Jr., Ernest, Bernice, Victor and James. Surviving are her three children and their spouses, David and Lisa Orent, Stephen and Rasa Orent, and Diane and Adam Garcia; and eight grandchildren, Giulia, Marc, Lukas, Mary Alice, Olivia, Alise, Jeremie and Giada. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 13, from 4 to 8 PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Freehold First Aid.
