Grandma,
One thing you always taught me and practiced in your every day life was that family was the most important thing in the world. It was clear that you were never happier than when the whole family was gathered together - even if we were doing the silliest things - playing Catch Phrase, Survivor Pokeno, blackjack, etc. It was always so great to see how happy it made you and it made my travels back home as I got older so much more worth it to see your smile. I want you to know that your granddaughters will make an effort in your memory to stay close. We are all adults now moving on and living our own lives, but you have taught us that it is important to stay close. As the eldest, I will make sure that we strive to be in each other's lives as a tribute to you and your memory. I know that is what you would want for us.
You were always such an animal lover - and all the family's pets loved you, from Kirby to Bailey to Jett to Lola and Macie. They say animals are the best judges of character. It is no wonder that they all flocked to you when you came over. Your soul and heart were always open, pure, and loving. Well, that and they knew you would always feed them! Bailey would sit by your side all dinner just waiting for Grandma to give him something from her plate! He knew where his bread was buttered!
I'm so glad you got to meet Robyn this summer and hope that you are smiling down on us every day. After she met you, she said you were quite a great lady and was so happy that she got to meet you because she knew how important you were to me and to the family. You were...you are still...the heart of this family.
We love you. Give Bailey and Kirby a kiss for me.
Love,
Lauren

Grandma,
I miss you so much. You were such a fighter, but I am glad that after all that you have been through, you are in heaven now watching over this whole family in peace. I am so glad that I came home two weeks ago to have dinner with you and grandpa because I hadn't seen you guys since the summer and I just had a feeling that I needed to come home and see you guys and I am forever grateful that I did. If I did not see you two weeks ago I would be even more upset than I already am. I am forever going to miss your cute little voice calling me Jessie and constantly asking me how Macie is doing. Everyone always made jokes about Macie, but you were the only one who loved her almost as much as I do. The other day Tim was telling me that he will remember you by that. About how much you loved animals and how fearless you were. Everyone was scared of Macie, but you never thought twice. You would always go looking for her and try to pet her, even if she wasn't being very nice back :) . I will also never forget backing you up every time you stole an extra piece of cake or so. I hope you are eating all the cake and sugar in the world up there!
Thank you for everything you taught me and the rest of the girls, we will never forget it and we will never forget you. We love you, grandma.
p.s.- Give the Bailey & Kirby a kiss from me! xo
love,
Jessie

Grandma,
You were always and always will be the most loving person that I have ever known. Everything I have learned has always come from you. You were my rock, my caretaker, and best friend. When I would be sick and stay home from school, your house was always where I wanted to go. I always thought of you has my second mother and could not be more gracious for all that you have done for me. You made me into the young lady that I am today. I will always live for you and your light will shine on through me and all of your children and grandchildren. As much as I miss you and know that you won't be here in person anymore, you will always be around. You will be around when I see any burst of light because you always had a special glow to you. You will be around when I see snow on the ground and remember all of the wonderful times we have sat together watching the snow fall from your kitchen window. You will be around whenever I see a deer because everytime you would see a deer you would take time to just sit and watch the beauty of it and make sure that whoever else was there got to see the beauty as well.
I have a lot of decisions to make the rest of my life, and a lot of crossroads that I know I will standing at and wondering what to do. I will be wishing you were still here to help me find my way but I know that you are now my guardian angel in the sky looking down from above and shining your everlasting light down the right path.
No matter what, you will always be around and be with us. There will never go a day when none of your family is not thinking of you, we all love you so much and miss you dearly.
I love you,
Tiffany Isabel Roe

Aunt Isabel,
You always loved life and especially your family. It was heartwarming to witness the abundance of love that your husband, children and granddaughters have for you.
As a child, I have fond memories of our family visits when you lived in Pearl River and Marlboro. You hold a special place in my heart. Your humor and witty comebacks have always brought a smile to my face and you and my mom are so much alike.
Aunt Isabel, you were a wonderful lady and I will miss you very much. More than an aunt to me; you were my godmother also. I will miss our talks and the time we spent together. Your memory will live on in my heart forever. I will miss you more than words can say. Until we meet again, Aunt Isabel.
Love you,
Lois
