Obituary of Kevin Cunningham

Kevin Cunningham, 76, of Marlboro, died at home on Sunday, November 1, 2015. Born and raised in Newark, he resided in Belmar before moving to Marlboro in 1973. He was an ordained deacon who studied at Immaculate Conception Seminary and graduated from Seton Hall University. Kevin was a school counselor starting at St. Rose High School, Belmar and then St. John Vianney High School, Holmdel and retired after 20 years with the East Brunswick School System. He was predeceased by his sister Marie Goullet. Surviving are his loving wife, Elaine (nee Boyle), his daughter Jennifer Baker; three siblings, Joseph, John and Sr. Anne Cunningham and two grandchildren, Aedan and Keira. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 3rd from 6 to 8 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Gabriel's Historic Church, Route 520, Marlboro. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365.
